| Description |
A
collection of oak transom casement windows manufactured to exacting
standards in the early 1930's. Fitted in the facade of a substantial
Georgian property and removed again in the
1960's when the windows were reverted to their original Georgian
sash style. The frames and
lights are jointed and pegged oak, with delicate mouldings to the
interior faces along with some quite excellent bronze bolts and
stays. The quality of construction would rarely be found today.
